The Amazon Fire HD 8 is an 8-inch HD tablet with a design that Amazon says is “twice as durable as the iPad mini in drop tests.” It features a 2MP front camera and a 2MP rear camera, which is high enough resolution for video calls, but won’t win any camera awards.
